Kivun Centers (meaning "Direction" in Hebrew) were established by the Ministry of Labor in 2013, aimed at providing and making accessible to the Haredi public a variety of services in the fields of education and employment, fully tailored to the needs and lifestyle of the Haredi community, and offered in a broad and convenient nationwide network.
Since 2023, the firm, led by BDO's Public Operations Division, in partnership with the Kemach Foundation (NPO), has been operating the Kivun Centers in the Jerusalem surroundings and the northern region.
Kivun Centers have experienced employment and education counselors who, free of charge, provide personal advice, guidance, and support to thousands of men and women each year who seek to acquire a rewarding profession, integrate into the workforce, or improve the quality of their employment.
The centers collaborate with educational institutions, companies, foundations, and leading organizations in the economy, with the goal of promoting and supporting the opening and subsidizing of tracks for completing education or studying in-demand fields, funding scholarships for students, allocating senior and sought-after positions to members of the Haredi community, and facilitating suitable placement for thousands of graduates from various courses and study programs.
Employers from across the country collaborate with Kivun Centers and benefit from recruitment services, job-specific training, and the continued advancement of the centers' graduates through workshops and courses to complete their education and personal and professional progress.
