The Ma'alot program, under BDO's Public Operations Division, is a program that operates a business center for immigrants and returning residents.
In 2022, the firm won a tender issued by the Business Entrepreneurship Division at the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration to operate the Ma'alot program in the Netanya and Sharon region, and operated it until the end of November 2023.
Ma’alot is a national program of entrepreneurship and business centers for new immigrants and returning residents, established and operated with the goal of supporting the establishment and management of businesses by new immigrants and returning residents in their entrepreneurial endeavors. Throughout its operation by BDO, the center provided services to clients in the Netanya and Sharon areas, including the cities of Hod Hasharon, Raanana, Kfar Saba, and Herzliya.
The response for entrepreneurs and small to medium-sized businesses is provided through the provision of consulting and business training services delivered by top private-sector consultants, financial assistance, grant programs and benefits, and a variety of workshops across diverse business fields.
Thanks to the funding and assistance provided by the Business Entrepreneurship Division of the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration, the services offered as part of this unique program were mostly provided for free, aimed at encouraging new immigrants and returning residents to utilize these services to support their business activity and thereby contribute to their chances of success.
The professional team of Ma'alot accompanied the businesses throughout their business activities, from the stage of professional diagnosis and defining the needs of the venture or business to building a program that includes a variety of support tools in the fields of business consulting, financing and credit, business plans, workshops, and more.
BDO is proud to have been given the privilege of operating this important service for immigrants and returning residents. We also see this activity as a great mission and an excellent opportunity to leverage our experience and business knowledge for the successful implementation of this important program.
