Emtza Haderech – Ministry of Labor

The "Emtza Haderech"  (meaning  "Middle of the Road" in Hebrew) program, established by the Ministry of Labor, is a government initiative operated by BDO's Public Operations Division through 'Synergy Employment Encouragement Ltd.' - a BDO subsidiary, in partnership with the 'Israeli Employment Center' and 'Slav Rehabilitation Services'.

This unique program is designed for men and women aged 50 and over who are seeking to launch a new career. It is intended for those looking to return to the workforce as employees or self-employed, as well as for individuals who are already employed but want to realize their full employment potential.

The program includes personalized guidance and a wide range of employment opportunities to help participants upgrade their careers. These include group workshops, professional training, employer connections, advanced Hebrew and English courses, mentoring, digital skills courses, and more.

In addition, the program works in close partnership with employers to raise awareness of the benefits of a multi-generational workforce. It also seeks to understand organizational perceptions and barriers to hiring older workers and to develop tailored programs and solutions that will help reduce them.

And it's all state-funded!

Synergy Employment Encouragement Ltd. operates the program in the northern, southern, and Jerusalem regions and operates in 17 different cities such as Haifa, Afula, Tiberias, Jerusalem, Beit Shemesh, Sderot, Beer Sheva, Yeroham, Eilat and more.

This program brings great value to those employers and job seekers and, combined with our rich experience in operating public service systems and our unique ability to bring business professionalism to public service, contributes greatly to the stability of Israel's economy, both economically and socially.

It is a great privilege for us to be a significant part of this important endeavor.
